I had the opportunity to utilize the services of this ER in late October. I had just had spinal surgery and was having swelling in my left leg so I was told by my surgeon to get an ultrasound. I went down there at about 11AM on a Tuesday and was greeted by a smiling and pleasant front desk person. She asked me the reason for my visit and ID and insurance card and promptly handed me some small forms to fill out. Before I could even complete them, she came over to give me my ID back and a nurse came to escort me to a exam room. It had a wonderful recliner-type chair and a flat screen TV posted on the wall. When I sat down (very comfortably) I was asked if I needed the chair adjusted (it also had a massage feature) took my vitals and told me the doctor would be in shortly. In the meantime a nice young man came in to get some limited history and before I knew it the doctor had come in. The whole time I had to think twice about where I was because the treatment I received and the comfort of the exam room seemed like I was in a spa! The doctor asked me some questions and then a ultrasound tech came in with his equipment and performed the ultrasound. He was extremely pleasant and thorough-I didn't even have to leave my chair. They then needed to take an X-Ray of my leg and a nice young lady came in with the equipment came in and took my X-rays. The whole time I was there I was made to feel as if I was a friend and not just another patient/number. I hate to say it but it was such a wonderful experience and the staff was so exceptional that I would not mind needing to go back again!!! This was a brilliant idea on the part of Dignity Health and whoever was in charge of hiring the staff did an exceptional job!!!! If it were my staff, they would all get a raise! Please acknowledge their great work and let them know that they are appreciated and doing a fantastic job!!!! My name is Margaret Kral and I am a fan forever!!!
