Most knowledgaable people around!

I've been going to this store for years, and it really is a unique store. It has the old fashioned feel to it but carries all kinds of new and unique items for a variety of house pets. You can also find pretty much anything for home repair, work clothing, gardening, outdoor decor, christmas decor...you name it, they have it! Their staff is always very friendly and helpful, and I must say, if you have a question about an animal, whether its a goldfish, a snake, a rabbit, a cat, a dog, or a hamster, they have the answers. Their is a young man who works particularly in the fish section most days, and he is VERY knowledgeable at his job. I've consulted him multiple times about issues with my orandas and he's always led me in the right direction. I also purchased my house rabbit at franklin, and it was a comfort to know that they only deal with reputable dealers (no mills and mistreatment!). Good atmosphere, great prices, more likely to have what you need. Highly recommended.

Customer Service

Seem to have a good selection and fair prices but the service isn't so great. When I call in to see if they carry something the girls that answer the phone are pretty much rude. Rude enough that I had my husband call back when I realized I forgot to ask the price. Answering the phone should not be such a horrible task that you feel the need to take it out on potential customers. A simple "How can I help you" or "Your Welcome" or "Have nice day" doesn't take much. Just hanging up the phone after you've answered a question is not exceptable in my book. And this has happened to me twice this week.
