Queen Anne's County Board of Education is a part of Queen Anne County Public Schools and is located in Centerville, Md. The district serves the educational needs of students in grades kindergarten through six. It operates elementary, middle, high, alternative and charter schools. It offers a variety of educational, enrichment and extracurricular programs for its students. The school district also provides programs in elementary art, music and physical education. Its library provides various resources, such as books, magazines, encyclopedias and newspapers. Its special education citizens advisory council is a partnership between parents, families, community leaders, educators and administrators to enhance services to students with disabilities. It offers work-based learning program that allows students to uphold jobs during the school day that focuses on the area of study that interests them.
