Tech Support (and training) for Seniors!

Silver Fox Technology Services is a small-business based in Douglas County, CO that provides technology support and education, specifically for our senior community. We recognize that many seniors struggle with effectively using computers, cell phones and even the likes of newer cable TV devices...and at the same time were often confused and hurried when trying to get help from corporate providers like Geek Squad, Verizon, and Comcast. We fill that gap by educating individuals or groups, at their pace and using layman's terms, to dispel confusion and build confidence in using today's technologies. We provide a different approach: Understand what the customer's specific goals are (don't assume they all have the same needs or challenges) Determine and deliver the least-complex, most cost-effective solution for them Take the time to educate them, to be comfortable using their technology Work with them, on their terms...using language they understand. We also work to bridge the generation gap, by choosing carefully selected high-school and college students to provide services in most cases (more senior staff is available if desired). We've found this develops caring and empathy between the Baby Boomer and Millennial generations. We specifically want to ensure that seniors stay connected to their family and friends, realizing that in many cases these loved ones live many states away. When this is their need, we setup solutions to allow them to do video calls, photo sharing, and to use social media (as well as email, text messaging if they are not already using such). We can also help with internet security, slow performance, virus removal, cell phone vs. smartphone selection/adoption, and many other technical challenges.
