I went to Biryani House with some friends for dinner At last, authentic tasting food no cream ! The grilled chicken dishes in particular were really well done. The chicken (a bunch of kinds) mixed grill on sizzler on the non-veg side were good-- not mind-blowing, but good. I would definitely come back again and eat more! In terms of spicy level... they're spicier than the least authentic places, but nothing in the US has reached the levels of India-spicey yet. I think they do a good job of balancing with enough truly spicy buffet dishes to cancel out their too mild saag paneer, et al.

I visited with my family. The owner/host is very pleasant and courteous. The food is excellent in taste and portion. The atmosphere is very family oriented. My kids were very happy. You can watch indian songs while having lunch. We always go whenever we travel to Raleigh.

So, we stopped in to Biryani House and had the lunch buffet. I think it was $8.99 each. I got a tour of the buffet and the waitress knew the ingredients (I have a milk allergy, so that was a star all in itself). The food was very good. More spicy than I expected for a buffet. My husband loved the butter chicken and said it was better than other Indian restaurants. The aloo gobi was delish and and the pakora were not greasy.

A notable lunch buffet and enviable kabab and tandooris dishes generate lots of buzz for this enticing Indian restaurant. Loved the freshly baked Tandoor Naans served on the table. So, too, do the outstanding all-colored light decor and expert service. Upscale and refined, the place is pleasant and welcoming. Enjoy authentic entrees(not added unwanted dairy cream to attract western customers), including a Balti chicken and Kadi Pakora curry. Nice selection of vegetarian dishes, too.

This is a really great place for homemade Indian food. It is in kind of an old building and I know some people are squeamish about eating in older places but don't let that deter you, their buffet is great. compared to other Indian buffets in the area they have a large variety and are very reasonably priced. they bring fresh nan to every table. It's all great but the Butter chicken, chicken 65, Pakora and some eggplant stuff are awesome, try this place out!

I love this place as I visit sometimes with my colleagues for a perfect hangout. The price and taste match so nice to my wallet !!! I drive from Ashville to get some of my business and I spend the evening there with my friends. Real cool place to have real authentic ( not Americanized) Indian food. They also serve some cool Indian Beers , one of them is Haywards 5000. It will knock you out I bet. So just try here the Lamb Kababs or Mix Grill served in Sizzlers !!! Wow !!! I love the aroma when the sizzlers come to my table........

I was taken here by a friend from work. This place is the best Indian food I have ever had! We had a group of 5 and spent about 5 hours in the place ordering dish after dish. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, the owner even let me see how the kabobs were formed and cooked. I'm not sure what all we tried, one of the group was from India and was ordering for the group. Everything we tried was better than the next. We finally left after we could not eat another bite, although I wanted to. Every time I am in the area, I will eat here at least once, maybe more.
