The food is OK but I found the service to be slow and not very friendly. It seems if you are a local friend, you get good service while others get second rate service. The place was clean and overall OK. Just not too impressed with the service overall. The food was good.

My husband, who comes from an Italian background, says Stefano's has the best marinara sauce in the area. I love the pesto sauce too. Delicious Italian entrees. I also love the decor. The murals of mid-20th century Carthage are absolutely wonderful! We definitely recommend Stefano's Restaurant.

This place is the best and only reason to venture into Carthage, NY. They have been around for a long time and are the best. I have never in my adult life had better pizza anywhere!

Good food and great interior finishes. I love the booths, memerobilia and pictures of the old world. Good pizza yet I could not understand their decision to use canned mushrooms. Fresh is the only way!

I ordered the buffalo chicken sub, and it was amazing! I'm picky about those, and it was one of the best ones I've ever had. I ordered a small and couldn't even finish it. My friends ordered rolls and calzones, which were very big too, and they all loved them. Good prices too!

It's great if you like stale pizza on freezer-burned crust!Beware!

We first tried Stefanos back in 1999 we loved it then.We just returned to the area in June of 2007.We decided to see if it still was as good as we remember.The pizza is still awesome,subs are less than perfect.Over all we will be going back again.I can see this becoming a favorite again.
