Creating a bond between people and pets.
- Business History
- Rebeccah Kleinberg, owner of What An Obedient Dog!, grew up in Silicon Valley in California. Although she misses the mild weather, she now calls Carrollton, Texas (in the North Dallas area) her home since 2006. She has always loved all kinds of animals, especially dogs, and is fascinated with how they think, how they communicate, and how they are so lovingly devoted to their humans with unconditional love and forgiveness. Her real teachers are all the dogs she's owned, as well as, her 2 dogs Tina and Acer. Rebeccah has been in the pet industry for 18 years as a certified professional dog trainer teaching obedience classes, providing private training. She earned her professional dog trainer certification from Animal Behavior College in 2003. Later she attended the Trainers Academy at Service Dogs, Inc. She helps train dogs to be mobility service dogs, PTSD service dog, and autism service dogs, which are examples of what a Task Oriented Service Dog would be.

General Info
What An Obedient Dog! uses positive dog training techniques, reward-based force-free training methods! With positive puppy and adult dog training, you are encouraging your dog to do what you are asking by rewarding him with something he likes (a treat or toy). We are focused on providing positive reinforcement dog training, reward-based, force-free puppy and adult dog training techniques. In other words, he works for food, or a reward, just as we would go to work and earn our paycheck. Once your dog learns the behavior you are asking, you can randomly use treats or toys, and your dog will want to do what you are asking, and will work harder just for the purpose of getting it right.
