I have been a client of the Duke Law Firm for years. Although they have many cases you always feel that yours is important. I have never called or sent an email that has not been answered right away by Desiree. If she is out of the office then her associates are quick to follow up. Appointments are prompt and efficient. Everyone is always warm and reassuring. They do everything in their power to acquire a good outcome for their clients. Court cases are difficult, Desiree has always taken time to listen to my concerns and is one of the most caring and compassionate people that I have ever met. I am thankful for her advice throughout the years. I contacted the Duke law firm to help with my husbands probation violation case. Both Desiree Duke and Tim Heath were so professional and patient with me during such a stressful time. Even the ladies that answer the phone were very kind (even when I called almost everyday lol). Specifically Mr. Heath, he worked diligently on my husbands case and in less than a week my husband was out, with all charges dropped and his probation reinstated. He fought hard in dealing with probation and would not wanted to be a hard ass. He used his knowledge and experience to figure out a way to get it done and made it happen. This is the type of attorney you want in your corner. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Mr Heath and the entire firm. Personally, I have never used this firm before. But I just received a letter from Ms. Duke's newest Family Law lawyer. The letter was VERY unprofessional. It was full of grammatical errors, some examples are: repeating sentences, missing punctuation or overuse of punctuation, missing words, misspelled words, and words used in the wrong context. The format of the letter was also incorrect and it lacked an actual signature. At first, I thought the letter was a fake, possibly sent from the person that I am having issues with. I had to call the firm to verify that the letter was legitimate. The letter was also very ugly, and the majority of the content was the him telling me how I should spend my time. Frankly, I am an adult and can spend my time how I so choose. He also spent a large portion of the time giving me his opinions, which again, is very unprofessional, opinions in every sense of the word are just that...opinions. Nothing legal about personal opinions, and as a representative of a very successful law firm, you would think that the content would have maintained a legal diction. Again, I am not an actual client, but I figured the firm would like to be aware of this issue so that maybe a proof reader can be used next time.

Desiree Duke is an excellent attorney. She helped me with our custody case right from the start. From the second I met her to the last moment of winning our case in court, she was helpful, respectful, professional and just plan awesome!! Brian Tevis goes the extra mile. He is very professional and does what he says he'll do. On my trial day his partner, Desiree Dukes also came to represent my case.
