Founded in 1962, Carol Stream Public Library is located in Carol Stream, Ill. The library maintains a collection of books, magazines, guides, periodicals, newspapers, encyclopedias, databases and reference materials. It provides fiction and nonfiction books on a variety of topics, such as mystery, romance, horror, fantasy and science. It offers services to students and adults through its departments. Its children s department organizes a range of programs that includes games, story sessions, book discussions and cultural events. The library also has meeting rooms for educational, cultural and social purposes. Carol Stream Public Library provides various types of services, including renewals, interlibrary loans, and computer and Internet access.
