      Established in 1983, Pennsylvania Counseling Services is a mental health care organization that operates more than 15 behavioral health and addiction clinics that serve over five counties in south central Pennsylvania. It provides counseling and psychological and vocational testing services. The organization offers medication management and psychiatric evaluation services and individual, group, marriage and family therapies. It also provides treatment for issues related to eating disorders, codependency, sexual addiction, hearing impairments, and physical, mental and sexual abuse. Pennsylvania Counseling Services offers family-based programs that focus on therapeutic care, training and intervention services for children and families. It also provides a school-based program that emphasizes behavioral modification, social skills development and overcoming problematic issues, such as aggression, domestic violence and family-related problems. Pennsylvania Counseling Services maintains one of its facilities in Carlisle, Pa.
