General Info
This bar is as older than the town, which was recognized in 1948, it has been in existence since 1877 and was once called Carbondale. Per Pierce County Records, 1920 was when it was built, but that's when they started keeping records, and they told me that was their best guess. The building was an abandoned building moved from Lower Burnett to Carbonado by train and placed by one of the train depots in town that was near the grounds of today's town water treatment facility. Later moved again up the hill a little further, across from where the company store sat (of course, no longer). The building has wore multiple hats, many at the same time: barber shop, dentist office, bar, post office, store for necessities. This bar is as older than the town, which was recognized in 1948, it has been in existence since 1877 and was once called Carbondale.
