General Info: Community Counseling Center is a private, charitable, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit behavioral health organization. The Center is the Administrative Agent for the Missouri Department of Mental Health entrusted to provide a full array of comprehensive mental health services within the southeastern Missouri counties of Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Madison, Perry, and Ste. Genevieve. Community Counseling Center has served the region since 1974. Community Counseling Center is funded by the Missouri Department of Mental Health, Cape Girardeau, Perry and Ste. Genevieve County Mental Health Boards, fees for services, grants, contracts, private and corporate gifts. At every level of operation, Community Counseling Center is dedicated to the treatment, support, and ultimate recovery of those afflicted with mental illness. The center is firmly guided by the following philosophy: · Mental illness, in all of its manifestations, is treatable. · No one should be excluded from receiving the care they need. · The best location for the treatment of clients is within the same community as that of friends and family. · Client recovery is the ultimate outcome of services performed. Community Counseling Center invites you to explore the site through their services provided, communities served, employment opportunities, and a wealth of links that provide information on the system of care and mental health topics of interest.
