We stopped by Robert and Tracy Morris's shop on the way back to PA from OBX. Their craft is genuine and fresh, nice to the fine wood and PVC sculptures rising out of tons of fresh cut six inch thick cedar planks. Their shop is as earth bound as you can get. Robert was on his band saw in the back shop while Tracy buzzed around the yard like a bee. Tracy is the Marketing Manager and Robert is Operations. Their core business is gift shops in the region. I'd like to see Robert bring in some quatersawn 2'x10" finer regional woods for supply to guitar and other stringed instrument makers. A web site would generate some business for both bird sculptures, raw fine furniture lumber $50/ a plank, and walnut, cedar and other local hardwoods. Good luck to them and keep up the great work!
