      Founded in 1967, the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo is a nonprofit organization that serves youths between the ages of 6 and 18. It offers arts, leadership development, sports, fitness and recreational programs. The organization additionally provides programs in career and life skills development and stress management. Its art programs enable the development of cultural awareness amongst youths through crafts and creative writing classes. The organization offers a variety of leisure activities that includes kickball, dodgeball, wiffleball, soccer, air hockey, volleyball, basketball and board games. It also provides tutoring, mentoring and homework assistance services. The organization additionally offers a program that includes classes on topics related to responsibility, integrity, courage and perseverance. The Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo is a part of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which comprises a national network of more than 3,500 neighborhood-based facilities. Started in 1860, it maintains a location in Camarillo, Calif.
