I would never take my dog there again ever. My dog came home sick took her to the vets. Also had lost 7 pounds. Not a good place.

This is very strange. 5.5 years ago I purchased a lab pup from these folks. She is an American field lab -- a great dog -- but, I find it very odd that this business has been around for so long and yet there are no reviews. I am very happy with my dog but these people asked me absolutely nothing about me, my lifestyle, etc. I would not have been able to adopt a dog at the time but these folks simply took my money and handed over a pup who did need a good deal of work -- as did I! A great dog but a poor choice for a first dog of a middle age single woman did not not even have a back yard at the time.

This is Heddley in Gorham with a follow up to my Nov 9 review. Maranatha worked hard to get back in touch with me and hadn't realized my issues at the time. Since then, I was offered a second training course (complementary!) and lot's of follow up. My dog has responded well as they are experts in what they do there. I'm back with Maranatha and you should definitely check them out. Heddley

Mixed feelings about Maranatha. We love our dog that we got there. The puppy training didn't really seem to do much for the $500. There was never any follow up after the program was complete as is advertised. More like just daycare. Also, after the last weekend of boarding, I picked up the dog with no collar or ID tags - they were gone. Apparently lost while he was boarded there. Two follow up calls, but it wasn't found and no comment from them.....seems very strange, doesn't it? Anyway, I'm moving on to somewhere else for boarding going forward and will recommend the same to those I meet. -- Heddley in Gorham
