- Workers CompensationAfter graduation, Ms. Gullo worked at the law firm of Collins and Maxwell, where she worked with clients on Worker's Compensation matters and cases involving no-fault insurance claims. She later left there to take a position as a Senior Court Analyst and Executive Director of Housing Court for the City of Buffalo under the Hon. Henry J. Nowak, in Buffalo City Court. During her time there, she earned a reputation for her tireless dedication, intelligence and strong work ethic. While working for the Court, Ms. Gullo supervised the Receivership and the Funding calendars of the Court. Her duties also involved conducting pre-trial conferences on behalf of the Court and negotiating settlements between opposing parties. At Judge Nowak's request, she also drafted legislative proposals and researched and drafted court decisions. Her common sense approach and keen analytical mind made her invaluable at formulating and directing various court remedies and programs which were instituted to improve the functioning of Housing Court.
