The owner Michael talked for 1 hour straight & I couldn't concentrate on what the movers were doing. My things needed to be divided, some for storage, some for the apartment. It was 85 out & they wanted to use the stairs instead of the elevator. I was on the 3rd floor. I ended up in the ER due to heat exhaustion & they mixed everything up. A family member was there & didn't know what to do but they kept complaining how I should be paying more than the flat fee. When I arrived home that night everything that was suppose to be in storage was in the small apt and everything that was suppose to be in the apt went into storage. It's been a nightmare ever since. I called a few weeks later to see if they would come back as a courtesy to resolve the issue and was told that I was confused because I was the one that went to the hospital. He wanted to charge me for fixing their mistakes.Everything was color coded so there should have been no errors. Never again.

I used them last year and they were awesome. However this time around they were horrible. Showed up an hr and a half late. Took six hours for a job that should have taken 3. Broke my very expensive couch n tore it. Also moved my entertainment stand and must have broken drawer its not sliding right. Oh and cany forget the bookshelf they broke. I called Don to ask for his inaurance information and he said he's not validating the claim and hung up on me like its his choice. Also yook door off and never put it back on. Stay very far away. I will be filing a claim with the courts.

If it were possible to leave a "no star" review, I would. These guys were more than two hours late. It took them SEVEN hours to move me out of my house -- and all the large furniture items had already been moved out the weekend before. I was quoted a $50 "service charge" plus $75 an hour, which for the seven hours should have $575. The guy in charge tried to charge me $650. The movers were completely unprofessional. They ripped the leg off my coffee table, broke several items. They brought outdoor items into the house and left dirty snow stains all over my carpeting in my den. They ALSO left indoor items OUTSIDE. They took a backpack containing several high end electronic items (a laptop and two cameras) and put it in my deck box, meaning it was outside for nearly TWO WEEKS. They also took the bags that had grocery items (we moved three miles away) and put some of them BEHIND a bunch of boxes in my den. There were eggs and pork chops in my den, going bad before I finally found them. The boxes that were CLEARLY marked "fragile" (in several places) were put at the bottom of piles, under boxes of heavy books. The movers did nothing but moan and complain the entire time -- they also wasted so much time. The ONLY reason I hired these guys was because I have a disability that prevents me from exerting too much energy. Otherwise I would have done it myself. I am planning on taking them to court.

I used him twice to move. The first time wasnt so bad but i picked up on a few lies and had a two hour wait from the time they scheduled to come. Although the movers were young and had no professional experience i chose to use them again to move my daughter because they were fairly decent. The second experience was worse than the first. They changed prices....worked longer than necessary and had no professional experience and my daughter is still missing her glass tops to three of her tables which we know they left on the truck. I would NOT use them to move my garbage let alone my personal belongings ever again.

I was so stressed out when I called this company due to a couple of questionable reviews (some good, some not so good) I had read but I was in a pinch and they were readily available on a Saturday at the end of the month a company that I booked with never showed up or even returned my calls however having a four plus bedroom house with a ton of very large pieces (alot of gorgeous hardwood, Some antique) I thought I was surely doomed. The owner Don assured me that they would come in and handle this move as any other, With care and respect as if my belongings were their own, Reluctantly I went forward with mighty samson moving and I must say I was honestly extremely impressed, These guys were better than I could have hoped for, Courteous, Respectful and they exercised extreme caution not only with each piece but with the walls in both my old home as well as our new one. Having one particular tight hallway leading to an even tighter stairwell these guys seemed to do it with ease and in the end they were less expensive than the company that stiffed me to begin with. I highly recommend to my sister who used them the following week and also had an amazing experience. I'm not sure if all of the many moves they make have the same results but these guys get an AAA plus rating from me, If ever the need to move again Don will be the only guy I call.

Horrible experience. Showed up late, quoted me a price for the job and then went three hours over and tried to charge me for it. The movers were nice at first, but their attitude changed and our stuff started getting broken after we called the company and complained about the difference between the quote and what they were intending to charge us. When my hubby called to get them to file a claim for our broken mattress (they folded it in half and broke the metal frame inside) and our new vacuum they broke (by dropping it down a flight of stairs), the owner cursed my hubby out and told him that we had no proof they moved us and he wasn't going to do anything. He called back a few days later and apologized, but never followed through on making good on the insurance claim for our bed and vacuum. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. We still had to rent a truck and finish our move even after paying movers to help us :/

Mighty Samson to the rescue. I needed three appliances moved out of my apartment by the end of the month. I had other movers back out on me and called these guys at the last minute. Don listened to my dilemma, and was willing to add this small move in to his already full move schedule to get me out in time. Unlike some other movers where your business hours calls go to voicemail anyway and messages are not returned - Don answers his phone. His movers called me, showed up when they said, and moved FAST ! Three appliances were loaded up in maybe 15 minutes. Also truly impressive - two guys carried my fridge down steps, and up steps again at the new place, easily maneuvering around corners and through doorways too. Quite a sight to see somebody wearing a "Mighty Samson" shirt PICK UP and CARRY his end of a full-size refrigerator ! Although I hope not to move again - if I do move, yes I would call them.

They caused over $1,500 in damages to my aunts belongings, they refused to move my aunts bed and she had to pay someone else to move it for her. My aunt was threatened by one of the workers. Don was never there to supervise the move. She would not recommend MIGHTY SAMPSON to anyone.....STAY AWAY!!!

Dealing with Mighty Samson was a NIGHTMARE!!!!!! PLEASE BE AWARE AND STAY FAR AWAY.

1st They came 5hrs after the time they we suppose to.

2nd After leaving with my bellowing to go to my new apartment, they arrived 2hrs late. I had to call their boss “Don” numerous times before he informed me that the movers went on a two hours break.

3rd When they finally made it to my house the movers dropped my 55inch TV on the floor!!!!!!!!!!!! (Luckily only my TV stand got broke)

4th At the end of the move, the owner tried to charge me 300$ more than what was initially agreed on. I had to yell at him for 15minutes before he agreed on the initial price.

5th I had to chase after the owner for two weeks before obtaining an answer about getting a new TV stand. In the process he was RUDE, UNAPOLOGETIC, AND LIAD SEVERAL TIMES TO GET AWAY FROM GIVING ME WHAT I WAS DUE.



This was a horrible experience and I wish I had hired another moving company in order to save me time, money and emotional stress.

Scheduled my move for 10am. Movers never showed up until 4pm!!!! Don told me their truck was supposedly in an accident but when the movers finally showed up they had a different story. I waited 6 hours for them and they still charged me FULL PRICE!!!! Customer service is AWFUL! No one contacted me about being late. I had to repeatedly call them throughout the day. I would NEVER recommend this company for moving!

I called around and I must say these guys have great customer service.I have some high end pieces, they walked me through hours pricing. Came in and did a wonderful job. I would definitely use this company again and strongly recommend them.
