I am a Winter Texan and broke a front tooth off. My appointment was at 8:00 AM and I was seen right away. Dr. Nelson was so kind and said she would call the lab technician and see if he could come and get a tooth made for me. He came right away,the dental staff took impressions and the lab tech took them and said we could come back at 3:00 to get fitted for my tooth.It was ready and fit perfectly. Such service was over and above any I have ever experienced. I told Dr. Nelson that if this would have happened at home in Illinois I would have had to wait a week for the appointment and then another 5 days to get the tooth. I would recommend Dr. Nelson and her staff. Carol Lee
The dentists attending their patients are awesome but the problem that I have encountered numerous times is rescheduling. I can have an appointment scheduled and I prepare for it with my work schedule and then all of a sudden it is rescheduled by them at the last minute. Take for today as an example, I had an appointment scheduled for this upcoming Monday and they just called me this morning for me to go in today at 2pm because their hygienist will be out all of a sudden on Monday. I guess she just found out today that she will be out Monday, coincidence that they are closed tomorrow and Friday. Then I get another call at around 11 am which I missed while trying to get things in order before having to leave by 2. I checked my messages and they didn't leave any telling me about the cancellation so I call back around 1 to let them know I am heading over and they inform me that their hygienist called in after her lunch saying she was ill and not going back....seems to me that they need a more responsible hygienist or at least more of them so that they can step in when the other is out. I understand that people get sick because I call in too but even in the most surprising situations I have been able to give a proper heads up. I will miss the dentists but I will not be returning to this office. I will continue to look for a place that is more responsible and respects their clients schedules.
Los Ebanos Family Dentistry is a genuinely welcoming facility with FRIENDLY staff and EXCELLENT service from the minute one walks in the door to the point when your appointment has concluded. This dentist is the most freindly and home base that you can get in this type of field. I enjoy going to the dentist now Dr.Monica Cantu Voreis is the best. Thank You
