This is the worst physician I have ever been to. Even though I had an appointment, I had to wait over an hour to even be seen by a nurse. Then I had to wait even longer to see the dr. I told him I was there for a health checkup. He proceeded to do a basic exam on me (which was expected) and then told me he would write me a prescription to improve my complexion (which I did NOT ask for and was unappreciated). He then gave me a paper with several books highlighted on it that I should read to improve my overall outlook on life (again, NOT appreciated since he doesn't know anything about me or my outlook on life) and a mantra that I should tape by my bathroom mirror and repeat every day when I wake up. None of these things were solicited and I don't want suggestions from someone who didn't even bother to get my name or even ask if I had any specific complaints. That aside, I just decided I wouldn't go back. Unfortunately, he does Travel Vaccinations and he is covered under my insurance. Long story short, my family got the vaccinations IN FEBRUARY OF 2016 but the office refused to go through insurance because "insurance doesn't pay for travel vaccinations." So fine, we got the vaccinations and then submitted it to insurance - $1100. Lo and behold, insurance DOES accept travel vaccinations. So insurance paid the dr. I went back to the dr's office with the documentation from insurance saying I needed to be reimbursed and they refused. FLAT OUT REFUSED. I had gone back and forth for months between insurance and finally got to the point where I felt uncomfortable and felt intimidated when dealing with his office because they were so rude and unprofessional. When I went back to insurance, the dr's office refused to pay. Insurance said the dr had been double paid and requested the reimbursement directly. The dr's office said they needed more official documentation sent directly from insurance. Insurance complied and has sent a copy every week since December. The office says that they sent the reimbursement in December. Some of the office staff are pretending that "she is out of the office" or "she is on the phone" when in fact they are the person who picked up the phone. Liars and cheats. As of today it has been almost a year and they won't even pay insurance, much less me. The girls in the office flat out said there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY THEY WILL REIMBURSE me - and at this point it looks the same for insurance. I despise this office and would under no circumstances ever go back. Ever. I don't care if you have insurance or not, you would be better off visiting a troll under a bridge for healthcare than you would coming to this office.Update: 1.5 YEARS later and I am STILL fighting to get my money back. Avoid at all costs.
