We have been going here and seeing Dr Johnson for the life of our dogs and love him, he is great. However, we took our 13 week old puppy in unable to stand, walk, or hold his head up. Dr Perkins was the one examining him and pretty quickly came to the conclusion he had ingested marijuana. I told her there was no possible way it could be that and she replied "yeah I hear that all the time" From that point on she was very condensing almost mocking me with remarks such as "he is not as HIGH anymore"

On top of thinking I was watching my dog die in front of me because I knew it was NOT maijiuana, I was made to feel Unresponable, stupid and basically like crap by her. She "warned" me as we were leaving to the ER that they will be testing for not only marijuana but also meth, opioids, crack ect and she will be very surprised if it comes back netigative. when the ER did his UA, it came back........ Negative!!!! I work in health care and know more likely then not people lie, exaggerate, hide things and think they know better but NEVER do you react like she did. I will never go back!!!!

I've never written a negative review before, but this is VERY warranted. Dr. Erin Perkin reeks of cigarette smoke upon greeting you and has very poor bedside manor. She will charge you an insane amount of money for simple services, although you won't know you're being charged until you go to check-out. . I tried to tell Dr. Perkin that I was disapointed with my last visit because I was charged for services I didn't know I was using and she brushed me off and said, "hmm... point taken". No apology, no explanation. Then, she did it again. I went to check-out after my dog was given vaccinations and was charged an insane amount for services I didn't even know I was given or needed. I will not take my dog back here, my pocketbook cannot afford her lack of communication.

My partner and I have been taking our cats to Dr. Perkin for over 5 years now. I'm very happy with everyone at the office. Dr. Perkin is obviously an animal lover and has dealt with our cats and their personalities with understanding and compassion. We had an older persnicikty cat with many health problems and Dr. Perkin was very good at finding medications and food for her to help her be as healthy as possible. She lived to be 21 with help from Broadlands.

I have had cats for over 20 years and have to say Dr Perkin and her staff are the best by far in terms of their compassion, professionalism, and commitment to providing the best care for my felines. I have gone to other clinics expecting the same level of service but have been sorely disappointed. I never worry if my cat needs a procedure or other service when in the hands of Dr Perkin. Her gentle, caring and comprehensive approach is reassuring in our fast-paced world. She even asks how you are feeling. Now that's special and appreciated!

Dr. Perkins and her techs are great with my dog. She provides thorough exams and is highly professional. She's provide prompt service and honest answers. If you want a great vet for your four legged loved ones, consider Dr. Perkins. HOWEVER, there's a caveat: DON'T EVER BE LATE for an appointment. I made an appointment for a Saturday morning and arrived SIX minutes late. I understand that being late impacts other patients schedules. However I explained that I my 5 week old daughter at the time unexpectely needed to be fed right before my appointment. The receptionist at the front desk was unsympathetic and told me that because I was late the doctor could not see me and that I would need to make another appointment. I find it hard to believe that there is NO grace period. Most other medical offices give you at least a 15 minute window. I am still disappointed by this experience and am still debating whether to take my dog back.

Dr. Perkin does the BEST, most thorough cat and do exams I have ever seen. After taking my newly adopted cat in for a visit, I promptly transferred all five of my pets to her. She is terrific with our pets, and recognizes that they are individuals with different needs. She takes her time and makes sure they are relaxed and comfortable, and really gets to know them as individuals rather than simply treating their bodies. I for one am thrilled to know that she would not let the dog mentioned in the negative review return home without speaking out on his or her behalf. Again, I have never seen such a thorough exam, given with such care and patience and expertise. And the dogs and cats love her! The clinic staff are beyond wonderful. They know what they are doing and do it with class.

I have owned dogs for 56 years and I have to rate Dr. Perkin as the best vet ever. The staff at Broadlands Veterinary Clinic are just as supportive. My do is 12 years old and has a number of health issue as a result of aging. He actually is excited when we pull up in front of the office. He knows who he going to see and is truly happy. Not only has Dr. Perkin and her staff giving my dog devoted and excellent care, they have been sensitive to me as I have had emotional times when my dog has been severely ill. I cannot even imagine taking my dog anywhere else. Archie (my dog) and I love Broadlands Veterinary Clinic!!!

I don't see what the other persons problem was. Everyone there was really kind and considerate. They answered all my questions and gave me options. I would definitely go back again.

This is a Great clinic! We have been using Broadland Vet. Clinic for about 2 1/2 years. We have 2 Maine Coon cats, one who has a rare form of anemia. She requires weekly blood tests...which means we are there a lot! Dr. Perkin and her staff have been outstanding during this difficult time. Dr. Perkin even went so far as to phone our petsitter to stress how important it is that our cat be medicated properly. There was a coffee shop next to the clinic that I would go to. Knowing that we would be needing a vet once we adopted the cats, I would ask pet owners coming out of the clinic what their opinion was. I always got positive feedback. This is what led me to choose Broadlands Vet. Clinic, and we are happy we did!

Complete lack of concern demonstrated after it was reported that dog was sick from vaccines. Poor dog was hospitalized at another clinic and is still not recovered. Afraid of bein sued? NO follow up call from vet. Nothing! I will never take my pet there again and I will tell everyone I know not to take their pet there.

My cat is extremely violent at any other vet, but they were able to calm him down and treated him and me very well. I was treated with respect and my issues were taken seriously. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic.

Rude, terrible service. We took our dog to another vet for treatment because this vet insulted my wife, who is a long time pet owner and dog lover. After we left this rude woman called the animal control and turned us in for animal cruelty because we refused to let her treat our beautiful dog. Don't ever go there.The police showed up at my house when my wife was over at Banfield vets. They were nice.
