Founded in 1978, Services for the UnderServed, also known as SUS, serves individuals with AIDS, mental illnesses, and developmental and physical disabilities, as well as homelessness, unemployment and poverty issues. The organization provides after-school care services for children between the ages of 5 and 12 in Bronx in New York. It offers residential and adult day habilitation solutions. Services for the UnderServed also provides assistance with dressing and bathing for senior citizens. The organization offers housekeeping, educational, vocational and health monitoring opportunities. In addition, it manages Brooklyn Clubhouse, which provides social and vocational options. Services for the UnderServed publishes a newsletter.
