P.S. 116 Elizabeth L Farrell is an elementary school that offers courses in language arts, reading, writing, math, science and social studies. It also offers an array of after- and before-school programs related to art. The school conducts award assemblies, field trips and parent workshops. It additionally works in partnership with the Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Citizen Council and the Hispanic Family Coalition. Located in Brooklyn, N.Y., the school is housed in a three-story building built in 1897. Its intervention services offer support for students who require additional help with their work.
