After reading the reviews I went to I Land Fish and Grill and bought a serving of fish escovich. It was good and tasty and I was not disappointed. Carl the chef should teach other Caribbean restaurants in Brooklyn how to cook. His is highly seasoned, theirs is almost bland. Tessie of Brooklyn, NY.

A simple and unpretentious Jamaican eatery that sells quality Caribbean food. The fish escovitch seasoned with lots of onions, vinegar, carrots, bell peppers is heavenly. If you do not feel like cooking dinner and you want to experience or reminisce on Jamaican delicacies, call in your order or jsu drop by.

You do not have to return to Jamaica to enjoy a sumptuous meal of jerk and curry chicken, seafood escovitch, peas and rice and other cuisine. On recommendation from a Government official, we ordered two large containers of red snapper escovitch for a political campaign in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was delivered next day by FEDEX fresh smelling, well-seasoned, deliciously tasting with lots of onions, carrots, green and red bell peppers. On my visit to New York from California, I was looking for a good Jamaican restaurant to sample some fish escovitch. Someone recommended I Land Fish & Grill on Flatlands Avenue. I have never eaten such fresh, well-seasoned seafood before. When I visit New York in December, I would visit them again. The food is absolutely delicious and the service equally unparalleled.
