I've been an avid cyclist for many years and I've lived in many states. This place is the worst. Last summer I got a new bottom bracket with no real incident aside from the rude counter person. She's about as friendly as a snapping turtle. No big deal I think, it's within walking distance of my apartment. So I brought it back for a tune-up which they charge $65 for. I figured that was just the cost of NYC. I found out shortly after that the shop right by my work does tune-ups for $35, cables included.When I dropped it of I was told it would be ready Wednesday and they would call me only if it was going to be later or if it needed any more work. I went by on Thursday morning on the way to class only to be told it wouldn't be ready till Friday and they had done some brake work that would cost me an extra $15.
