We had Buono Flooring Co. refinish the hardwood floor in the social hall of our Synagogue. I can't say enough good things about them. They had given me a price, but then, after figuring how to rearrange things so that they could do it all in one day, we decided that the best plan would be to do one area first and letting it dry, requiring another day to come back for the rest of the floor - two trips, two days of schlepping their equipment in and out. No mention of any additional charges - what a class act. PROMPT, COURTEOUS, CLEAN, REASONABLE, QUALITY WORK - WHAT ELSE CAN ANY CUSTOMER ASK FOR?

Very happy with my decision to use these guys. I couldn't afford to install a new hardwood floor since becoming a victim to the bad economy. They offered two other options - one to sand and refinish my existing floor, and one to install a laminate floor. They explained that both options were less expensive and didn't give me the hard sales tactics I've come across with other contractors. They actually convinced to to resand even though I was looking to go with the laminate floor. Lou explained to me that keeping the hardwood exposed was a better investment for me and that it would save me even more money. I was a bit leary at first because of the condition of the floor. But in the end, I can't believe I'm walking on the same floo - it's beautiful.

Living in Dyker Heights, I see the Buono vans driving around daily. I had three rooms on the first floor of my house that were all carpeted and full of furniture. They suggested a prefinished floor. In one day, Buono's three men converted my three rooms from average to elegant. They moved the furniture back and installed new floor molding. The one day transition still boggles my mind. What a difference a day makes! Would you believe that when I paid Mr. Buono, he realized that he overcharged me by $300 and gave it back to me. You don't meet people like this. Thank you guys.

My husband and I just bought a new house and were referred to Buono's Flooring through a family friend. We have received nothing but compliments on our floors. They repaired a few broken boards and sanded and refinished our 3 bedrooms, hall and even out staircase which we thought had to be replaced. We've already recommended them twice in the last week and will continue to do so. They even offered to touch up our floors if the movers scratched them.
