It's now closed until 2016 due to extensive renovations. Also new owner is John Iacono, as Mr. Manganelli has decided to sell. There will be a brand new 2 story modern building there by 2016.

A month ago I would have given this place a perfect 5 star review. It seems when you're looking to get a car, 86th street chevy wants to ensure you're taken care of. To be honest, they were the best dealership I ever went to. Of course this is until I left the lot in my brand new car. Once the deal is closed, you're dead to these people. Shortly after buying my brand new car, I started having severe issues with it. By severe I mean the car wouldn't unlock, lock or start which cost me my job. Yes, this isn't technically the dealers fault, but when I kept calling to get this fixed ASAP, or to understand what the heck was going on, they didn't care. They brushed me off and said stuff like, "oh it must be the battery". Dead battery? On a car with 1,000 miles on it? Well, it wasn't the battery. It seemed they only began to care about my issues when I called GM Headquarters and made a complaint. Of course now they want to help and obviously it's too late. They claim nothing is wrong with the

Would not recommend anyone to buy a car at 86th street. It was the worst experience I ever had at a dealership. The sales person made it a bad experience I wish I never went through with the purchase of my car.

If you go here expect to get ripped off. I had to bring the car back 4 times in a month for the same problem... they keep blaming the computer, in that the computer said this or that. They charge ridiculous labor cost. And my problem is not fixed.
This is a really sleezy dealership. They over charged me $900.00 to put in an alarm on a new car that was already equiped with remote locking doors. I had only asked for a price on them doing the alarm and the next day I went to pick up the car, the alarm was already in and there was an additional 900.00 added to my financing. I also needed an accessory for the seat belt that Chevy provides free and was told to order it through the Parts Dept. by the Salesman. But the Parts Dept. wouldn't order it for me when I called they said I come in and request it IN PERSON and then they will order it (keep in mind they are only open during business hours, and Saturday mornings, so that is hard for working people) Oh and the Service Department STINKS! They don;t let you wait for your car for an Oil Change. You need to leave it. Bad Experience all around... go to another Dealer!
