Leena Varkey Maramattom, MD, is a Medical Oncologist/ Hematologist with Ascension Medical Group. Dr. Varkey Maramattom is board-certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology. She provides individualized and compassionate care to adults with solid tumors, hematologic malignancies and benign hematologic disorders. Dr. Varkey Maramattom has a special interest in breast cancer, lung cancer, GI malignancies and hematologic malignancies. She offers the best therapy possible while individualizing it to the patient's specific situation. She is sensitive to the fact that this journey may physically affect only the patient, but the disease will deeply impact the families too. Outside of the office, Dr. Varkey Maramattom enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with family.
