      Plouffe School offers an array of specialized academic programs. Its curriculum is based on reading, writing, calculating and critical thinking skills. Established in 1998, the school s facility features a library, greenhouse, cafeteria, gymnasium, computer laboratory, guidance suite and more than 30 classrooms. Its staff includes instructional resource specialists, special education teachers, counselors, librarians, nurses, parent liaisons and paraprofessionals. The school provides talented and gifted, inclusion, special education and extended day programs. It also offers intramural sports and organizes choral concerts, pizza nights and fundraisers. Plouffe School also publishes a monthly newsletter that features staff news and upcoming events. Located in Brockton, Mass., the school is managed by the Brockton Public Schools.
