Vantage credit union... If you love to be inconvenienced, If you love having all locations and online banking closed at the same time.. this is the bank for you. Vantage takes banking as serious as a game of monopoly. Obviously thats what money they think they're dealing with. This bank is a dump and i wouldn't even recommend it to my enemies. Shame on you vantage.

Car was totaled due to damage. Insurance says it can be repaired and be considered clean again. VCU refuses to let me repair the vehicle with my check and instead is making me pay the loan off instead. Kinda hard to build credit if you dont have a loan! They refused to listen to me and the insurance rep on this matter. Never again.

They repossed my car without telling me or sending me a right to cure default letter and breach my contract on my car in the first place that's. Why I am going to take it to a lawyer with my original contract!!! I would never ever get a loan through them ever again and I would advise everyone not to go through them, they need to be investigated and shut down because they like to rip people off especially right before Christmas so they can get a big fat bonus!!!! They messed with the wrong person and I do know my laws where I live and my rights and they won't. Get away with this!!! Because not everyone is stupid like they think we Are!!!

worst bank ever!!!!! warning .... got a car loan from them they charged me a hi risk insurance policy be cause i did not show proof of insurance right away. $$$$1200 after my insurance company called them and explained that there was no gap in my insurance they said it was too late and made me still pay. so i decided to refinance with a better bank and now they are making me jump through all kinda hoops to get a pay off and copy of title. they just put you on hold or when you get some one on the phone they tell you that they cant send it or some crap. i would like to mention how i got stuck with them in the first place, i bought a car from frank Leta Acura and they wouldn't use the bank i recommend . almost 8% interest on a used car when i have 780 credit???? i recommend Scott credit union 2.3% interest on same car... also the people at vantage are non educated on there policy and the law... warning don't get involved with them.. thanks scott .

If you do business with Vantage Credit Union, please be advised that they will call your neighbors if they are unable to locate you by using a 'skip tracing' technique. I just received a call from them this morning. The number that called me is (314) 298-0055. The man stated that he'd been looking for my neighbors and asked me to have them call the credit union. He also advised he was doing "skip tracing". Well, that tells me they either owe a debt or something to do with a debt. If you don't want your neighbors knowing if you are behind on a payment or wrote a bad check or whatever, be sure the credit union has ways of contacting you, else they will contact your neighbors via skip tracing to locate you! I wouldn't do business with them to save my life! Also, I WILL NOT be advising my neighbors of the call as I dont want to know their personal business as I wouldn't want them knowing mine. I advised the credit union to never call me again and I also contacted the do not call registry to report their call.

This is the second complaint I have filed. Vantage Credit Union contacted me last week and again today, 082411, after me asking them to not call my house again. They call asking me to ask my neighbors to contact them. The first time this collector called he stated he was skip tracing. I said, "isnt that illegal?" He advised, "no". Then, I advised him that I did not want to get involved in my neighbors personal business and not to ever call me again. He called again today and left a message on my answering machine and asked us to give our neighbors of whom he calls by name a message to call the credit union at 800-392-1517 X5300, however the number on my caller id showed 314-298-0055 which I was informed that all calls go through this branch in Bridgeton, MO. I want this idiot to stop calling. I will not embarrass my neighbors by telling them about the call. They have enough on their plate!
