This is a small office, nothing fancy, but they do a fine job. Dr Cartwright is very nice and my son who hated going now doesn't mind because he was so friendly with my son. So far I have not had any issues with them.

I ONLY gave 1 star because I had to, to get my review posted!! Worst dentist I have EVER dealt with! To start, the office stunk like corn chips. Then my 6 year old was called back first, and I was told I could NOT go back with her. Which I found out later should be a HIPPA violation, but because they are a "private practice" they can do as they please. This makes me wonder what other normal HIPPA standards they choose not to honor. Then, neither myself, my 18 yr old, or my 6 yr old saw the dentist. He wasn't even there! He did arrive after we were all done getting cleaned, and we were told to wait as he examined our X-rays. NONE of us ever met him!!! My 6 yr old had 1 cavity and was asked to come back next week. (Which my old dentist would have done on the spot). So a few months go by, my daughter complains of her tooth hurting occasionally. We had a death in the family, and it's 10 mos later by now. I ask my daughter if he took bite impressions. She said no. She has an elephants memory- even for a now 7 yr old. I call to ask if they took her bite impressions and after getting rudely cut off by the receptionist, Dr Cartwright picks up. I asked him if he took impressions or if he was just going to be drilling aimlessly at this point. He proceeds to tell me he did not, and quickly follows with defensive insults and antagonizing comments- basically calling me a bad parent for waiting too long, and insinuating I'm lying or don't know what I'm talking about?!?! No empathy or any attempt to apologize or fix the situation?!?! I interrupted him saying that I might have a better idea of what had transpired if I had been allowed in the room with my child, this next visit I would be present. He told me he "DOES NOT allow parents in because they can be a bigger problem than the kids". He spoke of his clients as if they were unruly wild animals?!?! When I told him I would be present or I would not return- he told me he would refuse providing ME service if I insisted on being in the room!!! At this point I told him he "had me f*cked up!" Talking to me like that, and he hung up on me. Do not go to this dentist!!! Do NOT take your children to this dentist!!!!! He is a mean man and is oddly persistent on getting your children alone with him. I have reported him to my insurance agency for rudeness and for fraud. Check your bill when you get it. You should not be charged for a "dentist" visit, when you only see a "hygienist".
