08/22/14

If I could put negative stars I would. Where do I start. I brought my boat there 7/29/14. It needed a high speed jet and a new drain plug in one of the carbs. Then I wanted it tuned and told him to have it run nice. I told him I already performed a spark and compression test and gave him the results. I also told him I needed the thermostats done and that I had new spark plugs at home so I don't need those. I told him I left the keys in the glove box. Fast forward a week and he said my boat runs good. The bill was 460. He installed new spark plugs. He said the high speed jet was screwed into the wrong hole and he fixed it. He charged me 150 for a spark test and compression test. ( mind you I told him I already did that). I get the boat in the water and the same exact problem happens. I text him and no response for three days. Then he says bring it in and I'll fix it. I ask him why I paid 460 and it's still not working. He tells me he doesn't have time to text me all day and to bring it in. The only reason why I brought it back was because I entered the bluefish tournament 8/23-8/24 which he promised three times the boat would be ready. Fast forward to 8/21 and he tells me he noticed behind the stripped drain plug bolt that it's missing the high speed jet. AMAZING!!!! That was what I told him I needed done the first time. I rebuilt the carbs myself and I know for a fact only one was missing the high speed jet. He tells me he figured that's the one I meant because he seen it in the wrong spot and that I was missing two jets. It gets better. When I picked the boat up the first time I asked if the keys were still in the glove box? He looked puzzled and said I didn't know you left your keys and that he used " his shop keys" to start the boat. He clearly did not run my boat. On 8/21 he asked me where my keys are. I replied with in the glove box like they were the first time. Or use those imaginary shop keys like last time. Then today 8/22 he says I ran the boat and noticed cylinder 3 wasn't running. We'll if he ran the boat the first time he would've seen that it wasn't firing. So the bluefish tournament that he promised the boat would be ready by is now looking like I won't be able to make it. Me and my friends paid 50 each to enter as we'll as orders bait and other stuff for is all wasted. I would never reccomend anyone to bring there boat there unless you want to be lied to and taken advantage of. Biggest joke on earth.
