We LOVE Shoreline Pet Lodge! Our Labrador goes to their daycare and LOVES it. The staff is exceptional! The grounds are immaculate.

They are outstanding in their service and I wouldn't bring my dogs anywhere else!!

My husband and I left our 8 year old Siberian Husky at the Shoreline Pet Lodge two summers ago when we left the country to get married. He had never been to a kennel before and had always stayed at my mother-in-law's house, where he used to live, when we went out of town. We were quite happy with the facility. They were friendly, reasonably priced, and understanding of our concerns. For example, we wanted him to be walked every day and to not have interaction with other dogs, since he is not good with other dogs. By the time we picked him up, he had scraped his nose on his cage but this is not the fault of the facility; he had not been caged or left alone at night since he was a puppy 7 years ago. Overall I would highly recommend this place.

This is the best "vacation" a dog could ask for! Our dog Chance (a rescued original sized Cavalier spaniel) loves when we go out of town because he also gets to go "on vacation" at the Shoreline Pet Lodge. He gets so excited when we ask if he wants to go on vacation that we can hardly get him there fast enough! He loves the staff (they always remember him by name), the play time, the oatmeal baths and of course seeing all the other "vacationing" friends! It's such a good feeling leaving him there because we know how happy he is to visit. He's been a frequent visitor for the past five years and we hope for many years to come! Thanks SPL for taking such excellent care of our perfect pooch Chance!!

As 20+ year customers of the SPL. There is no comparison to the care and attentiveness our dogs have received here. The owners Barbara and Denis and their exceptionally caring staff make it easy for us to travel and leave our dogs behind. We know they are in great hands and the plus is our dogs love going there!. It is truly their home away from home.The setting is perfect for animals and the facilities are meticulously kept.They offer a wonderful arrangement of play and exercise activities as well as exceptional everyday care. Our family of 3 dog (maltese and labs) have spent as long as 3 weeks to an overnight and daycare here with always a positive experience. We've had 5 dogs over the past 20 years enjoy the lodging here and will always be grateful to our Vet 20 years ago for recommending them. Our travel from Killingworth to Branford is well worth it!!

When I have to travel without my dog, Murphy, I am happy to put him in the good hands and good company at Shoreline Pet Lodge. Murphy is the fourth dog in my household who, over the years, has enjoyed frequent days and weeks in this kennel. Barbara, Dennis and all of their assistants provide a family feeling that makes temporarily separated pets and their owners content knowing that they are receiving the best care available anywhere. We give the Shoreline Pet Lodge 5 paws!
