Pets come in all sizes and shapes and Dr. Kane at Care Animal Hospital has not yet come across one he could not take care of. I have very tiny dogs as pets, who think they are very large and he took care of them and their attitude. I was very pleased with the whole staff at Care Animal Hospital. I will definitely take my pets there in the future.

I like Care and also dislike Care.



PROS: They have in house financing it is great when you are tight on money and the payments are only $50 a month.

I took a 4 week only kitten I found there and I think they pretty much saved his life he was infested with worms and almost dead from dehydration.



CONS: I took my 13 year old cat there with a huge lump that came up on his back leg almost overnight the vet said there wasn't enough skin to close the wound and the whole leg would need to be amputated.

It would be $465 up front and my monthly bill would go to $100 a month for a total cost of $1,525.

I wanted a second opinion so I took him to Meadowrun Animal Hospital my parents have been going there for 25+ years. He said there was enough skin and he would take off the lump for $300.



This is why I have mixed feeling on Care if you are in a bind and just cant afford to pay it all up front go to care otherwise go see Dr.Fischbach at Meadowrun.

Thank you to everyone who helped us with our beloved cat, Romeo. Your genuine compassion and kindness helped my husband and I deal with having to say good-bye to our sweet, wonderful boy. We are forever grateful to all of you, especially Dr. Wood and the gentlemen who helped us. Thank you for your kind card and warm and thoughtful words of sympathy.

Everyone at Care is so wonderful to deal with from the time you walk in and are greeted by the front desk staff to all the Vet Techs and all the Doctors there who take care and look after your babies. They are all so friendly and professional. I will continue to take my babies there and highly recommend Care Animal Hospital to all.

I want to thank Dr. Kane and his truly caring staff at Care Animal Hospital for a comfortable experience for my Brutus. I just moved into the area and looked online for highly recommended Veterinarians when I came across Care and all their great reviews. I took Brutus in for his routine shots and felt completely at ease. Brutus, like I'm sure most other animals aren't too happy when they get their shots. When we walked in, the staff greeted us and made both Brutus and myself feel very welcome. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. You can tell Dr. Kane and his staff truly do take pride in what they do. Thanks again!

I have taken my dogs to Care Animal Hospital for 10 years, beginning in 2001 when we moved to the area. We chose the clinic because of a referral and location. We have stayed loyal to them because of the care they show our dogs and our family. When we started going there our dogs were middle age and had minor health concerns and as they aged the staff helped us to understand their changing health needs. When our beloved dogs passed away the staff was very understanding and kind.



The week before Christmas we got a beautiful, 8 week old chocolate lab puppy and brought him in for his first appointment. He was healthy, but not as playful as we thought he would be. Within two days of the appointment he was listless, not playing or eating. We took him back and were told he had Parvo and had a 30-50% chance of living. We were devastated, as were our children. What happened during that week was amazing.



The entire staff of Care Animal Hospital helped our puppy to survive this horrible virus. He was hospitalized, placed on antibiotics and other medications, given IV fluids and even a blood transfusion!!! We brought him home on Christmas Eve and still had to give him medications and prompt him to eat and drink. It has taken a couple of weeks for our puppy to fully recover! He is one of the lucky ones in his litter, as several others have died from the virus.



The staff and veterinarians at Care Animal Hospital have given us a greater understanding of the importance of timely vaccinations. If our puppy had been given his vaccines at the right time he would not have been as sick as he was. I am grateful to them for saving his life. I always have and will continue to refer animal lovers to Care Animal Hospital because they are the best!!!

Dear Dr. Kane, Lyndi, Cheryl & the Staff at Care Animal Veterinary Hospital, Giving gifts is very easy compared to finding the right words to express what is in our hearts for the way in which you lovingly cared for our beloved Scotties Rocky & Teddy in their final days with us all. It is truly a blessing to have such a caring group of professionals and staff involoved with the care of our loved ones. we dearly miss Rocky and Teddy Bear and always will but it meant so much to us for the way in which you loved and cared for them as if they were a part of your own family. Dear Dr. Kane, You and your entire staff are eminent professionals. I want to thank each of you for the care given to Kibbie during his last illness. Thanks you for checking on him. Dr. Moses was great while Dr. Wood was not on duty. But, without question, Dr. Wood was outstanding. She is a great communicator, a kind, gentle and understanding person. She even offered to have someone drive me home on June 21st. The technician that day ( I think her name is Katrina) was truly kind and very gentle with me and with Kibbie. Care Animal Hospital is a wonderful place to take your pets of any kind. Not just cats or dogs, but lizards, hamsters or any other of pet you might have. I recently took my pet turtle to Dr. Kane for an examination and was very pleased with the service and attention we both received. The one really great thing that I can say about Care Animal Hospital is that they "care" for all creatures. As a pet sitter, I often find an abandoned baby bird or squirrel who has fallen out of their nest in storms and I once found a baby bunny. After calling Care Animal Hospital, I was able to drop the babies off, leaving them for the staff to care for and hopefully be able to return them into the wild when they are bigger. Dr. Kane is awesome! He has cared for my cats, dogs & horses for over 12 years. He comes to my farm when one of the "kids" needs him and is always prompt and professional. I would never use another vet-he is SUPER!

If you are looking for a Vet in the Lithia area, I would recommend highly Dr. Kane. He is very thorough and takes his time with your pets during the office visit He is also great about giving you alternatives to treatment, while keeping the cost to a minimum. I will always take my pets to Care Animal Hospital and Dr. Kane.

Having taken my pets to see Dr. Kane at Care Animal Hospital for over 2 years, I would recommend them to anyone in the Brandon and surrounding areas. Super customer experience. My two cats were treated with the utmost care and compassion. You can't ask for a better vet! Would recommend to anyone in the Brandon area. You won't be disappointed. Be sure and check out the animal rescue.

After a long search of going to several Vets in the Brandon area, I finally found my dream Vet. I took my 3 cats to see Dr. Kane at Care Animal Hospital. He took a complete medical history on all three and then gave them a check up. During the examination, he explained everything he was doing. Luckily, all three were given a clean bill of health. I will continue to take all of my pets to Care Animal Hospital.

I was having a challenge finding a Vet that I liked and my dogs liked. I heard about Care Animal Hospital from a friend and decided to give it a try. Boy, was I glad that I did.
