Mosaic Fertilizer is a division of the Mosaic Company, a subsidiary of Cargill, which is one of the world's leading producers and marketers of concentrated phosphate and potash crop nutrients. The company s phosphate segment owns and operates mines and concentrate plants in Florida that produce phosphate fertilizer and feed phosphate. Its potash segment processes and distributes potash in Canada and the United States. The potash products are marketed to crop nutrient manufacturers, distributors and retailers, and to customers for industrial use. These products are used in the manufacture of mixed crop nutrients, animal feed ingredients, and for icemelter and water softener regenerant. The company s offshore segment includes fertilizer blending and bagging facilities, port terminals and warehouses in various countries. The Mosaic Company is based in Plymouth, Minn., and serves customers in more than 30 countries, including Mulberry, Fla.
