First- let me say I was new to the area 3 yrs ago. Finding a new salon was a nightmare in itself. I've had my fair share of salon horror stories in the past. Due to that, I would put off going to new places, the next salon was always just as bad as the last. Fast forward - when I walked into Chez I was greeted by smiles from a friendly staff. Everyone was so nice and welcomed me. Louanne was my stylist. She had some work cut out for her when I sat in her chair. She fixed all the mistakes. From all the previous salons and made me feel so much better about myself. She was very in tuned to what I needed done and where to start. She changed my color, style and confidence. I absolutely love this place and will continue to get my services through them. I will definitely recommend this salon to all my girlfriends!!

I've had my nails done with Amy and my hair cut by John. Both technicians were second to none! They were very proficient, knowledgeable and timely! I appreciated their love for their craft and I would highly recommend Chez Madeleine to all my friends.

I have been coming to Chez Madeleine for many years. I have been having my hair done by several of the stylists including PJ and Louanne depending on who is available. Their amazing abilities in doing my hair, always leaves me very satisfied. I absolutely love how this great staff works together and makes me feel welcome and not uncomfortable when I need to see another stylist in the salon.

We live in a culture where so much of our priorities and values systems are geared around money... But it is refreshingly obvious when you walk in this business and interact with any of the employees that the relationship comes first and each individual is committed to your happiness and that the financial gain is just the byproduct of the service and rates below and 2nd to the trust gained and earned with the commitment to the relationship coming1st which is priceless in this day and age... There used to be a saying why complain it doesn't get me anywhere but as I mentioned before our culture has change and enables the people that are the problem so I decided to change because a satisfied customers actions speak louder than words.... So let's add some words to the actions because anyone can complain but very few people want to tell the truth because of their own fears and insecurities... The cup is half full and a lot of these reviews come from people that are half-empty I know a lot of the people to this business personally I've had my haircut by Nancy Nikki Kanoa Luanne and they are all efficient and have different personalities the only differences same result with their own special touch I've had my eyebrows waxed tonica Amy is awesome too I am been welcomed graciously by Ashley the receptionist and have always been treated with respect by the owner John... To this group it is not just a job this is a calling for them and if they weren't getting paid to do this it would be their hobby and very obvious if you spent a little or a lot of time with these people... And if you take time to get to know them like I know them u will realize that they are humanbut most important get to know their heart and their character which is seem superhuman compared to customer service today which really sucks... So become part of the family put the relationship first because the money comes second get to know these people I endorse them and they will bring the best out of you inside and out...lol pun intended:-)

I travel a lot for work. I have had my color and Japanese straightener done just about everywhere in the world, from Chinatown NYC to Singapore. But once I found Chez Madelene offers this service, I've only been going there. It is the only place in Virginia Beach that offers Liscio brand ( be careful with any other brand and inexperienced stylists!!!! They'll fry your hair!) I'm extremely busy. Fortunately, my hair is one less thing to worry about now.

What a great staff! Everyone was nice from the moment I walked in the door! Ashley, the receptionist was very courteous and helpful as this was my first time to the shop. She took me to meet my stylist,Louanne who was also very friendly and professional. I asked her for a multidimensional color and to please fix my horrible haircut I had. She was able to change my color and add what looked like highlights all in one step which is great because I didn't have to be there all day! The haircut was great too! She fixed my haircut and I could tell it would be great even when it was still wet! I was so happy and I already booked my next appointment!!

I have been going to Chez Madeleine for over 9 years now and always been happy with my services. Most recently Dmitry and Kanoa have been highlighting and cutting my hair. Both are extremely professional and talented. I have never been happier! The whole salon staff is welcoming and friendly. I always look forward to my next appointment.

I have been going to chez Madeleine for years and they have only gotten better with time. The staff is friendly and the stylists are wonderful! You will definitely leave looking and feeling great! Would definitely recommend.

Be sure to call their appt desk at four two eight nine one one three, the one here is their back room What a great experience everyone is friendly and each stylist their own little space that feels secluded. Clients come from other states to be seen by Chez Madeleine stylists. You wil not be disappointed. Lou is my stylist and she is wonderful. Client rave about all the stylist so you can't go wrong by coming to Chez Madeleine.

How sad when an ex employee reaches rock bottom and has no where to turn to but lies. Once talented but now butchers and over processes hair. Being sued by every one in town, talent has faded and he is now jaded. What a lier and con artist. Enjoy the strip shop. Believe me you all deserve each other. What a zoo.
