Several days ago, I called the Cuyahoga Falls location to inquire about the price for cleaning a child's coat. When I arrived, there was an employee at the counter that I had not recognized. She told me to bare with her because she was new. I paid upfront as usual to take advantage of the discount for doing so. I was told that the coat would be ready the following day. When I picked the coat up and immediately checked it as I arrived home...I noticed that the coat had a horrible smell that was not at all present when I took it to them. It was also full of lint and other particles that were not present at the time of dropping it off. It was around 6:30 in the evening, and knowing that they closed at around 7 PM. I called immediately called the Tallmdge location. An employee told me that I should call in the morning between 7 AM and 1:30 to speak with a manager. Instead of calling, I took the coat to the Tallmadge location and spoke with a manager. I explained the problem, and she said that she would question the guy who cleaned the coat. She said that she did not know what the horrible smell was. She apologized. She told me that the coat would be re-cleaned and that it would not be ready until Friday because they did no cleaning on Thursdays. She said that she could have the coat sent to the Falls location if it was closer for me. I said that would be fine. Today is Friday, and I went to the Falls location. The same 'new' employee was present. She asked for my phone number and she said the coat was not in the system and had not been delivered there. She then checked the racks identifying the clothes that had been delivered. I asked her if she could allow me to use their phone to call the Tallmadge location, or if she could call for me. She said they"did not have a phone", Never mind the fact that I had called the store several days prior to inquire about the price for cleaning this coat. I was irritated, and knew she was not being truthful . I asked her to write the phone number down for me. She did so. I had my elderly mother in the car and told her that I was going to call the Tallmadge location in the morning. As I was on the highway, I decided to just take a ride there to retrieve my coat. When I got there, I asked to speak with a manager. I was told that there were no second shift managers . I explained the situation, and the Tallmadge employee checked the system. She told me that the item WAS at the Falls location. She said that she trained this girl for a day and she was not putting the clothes where they belong. I told her that my trip could have been avoided had this girl allowed me to use their phone to place a call. I was told that customers are not allowed to use their phones. I replied...the employee could have called herself. It was HER job to do so. That is what GOOD customer service is about! She replied that this girl DID NOT LIKE using the phones. REALLY?? I was SO upset. (my cell phone had died or I would have used it). Not only did she not know how to look for items she also did not tell the truth when she said "There were NO phones ". This item was needed for mailing and should have been properly cleaned from the onset. The fact that this company has an inept person running the Falls location is inexcusable. You have officially lost my business. This will be the LAST time ....NEVER again will I use Swan Cleaners. Let's see what tomorrow brings........

Terrible customer service. They lost my dry cleaning in August. In September I completed their claim form after what I was told had to be 30 days. It's been several more weeks. I've now called 7 times and have been told the owner will call me back. No one ever has.

I'm very disappointed in White Swan Cleaners. A recent lost item (August) has been a nightmare. I've called numerous times and completed their claim form several weeks ago. As of today, I'm up to 6 promises of call backs. No one ever calls back. I've used White Swan for over twenty years with no problems. I'm beginning to believe they are only good if you don't have a problem. Customer service like this will definitely result in lost business.

They damaged my cashmere topcoat. I was told it was due to a coat construction issue (separation of fusible facings – which means nothing to me), so the White Swan employees did acknowledged the damage occured in their store. The fact is the coat was cleaned before by another Dry Cleaner with no problem, I took it to White Swan and now it's damaged. No one, including the owner, was willing to accept any responsibility. Very disappointing for a repeat White Swan customer.

Don't trust them. I left them a leather jacket and shear curtains to clean. The jacket was no better than when I left it with them. It obviously wasn't cleaned. They said nothing and noted nothing when I picked the curtains up but when I unbundled one it was not clean. Slick Jim the owner will talk you to death but won't make it right. Should have stayed with Leona's Cleaners 2429 State Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 (330) 929-8268 honest people better price and service.

For my daughter's wedding we rented cabins for three days. Upon picking my mother of the bride dress up from White Swan cleaners they started to just give it to me to take and I said I had better try it on as the sign says once you leave they are not responsible. The alternations lady said, it's ok and repeated it over and over as I stood in my dress that was dragging on the front and wayyyy too short in the back. I was so sad! The lady said she was sorry for what she did and sat down at her machine. i was told to come back the next morning and Anna, a diff lady, would see what she could do. When i walked out she looked at the dress in awe, 'what did she do"? and then proceeded to tell me that she could not fix the back but could shorten the front. sigh..wear shorter healed shoes. The great part is i was charged by the owner for THEM FIXING THEIR HUGEEEEEEEE MISTAKE.My sister and I were so shocked, hurt and I was in tears as not only did I miss 1 1/2 days with my bride daughter and family I now had a too short dress and a new bill on top of that! I told the owner that the alternations lady said, 'she just cut straight across' and asked him if that is how they alter dresses? she never ONCE measured the side or back even after i questioned her. She put two pins in the front. he told me now that they don't and said the dress possibly may have had a train in the back! well, everyone I speak to says the dress would then have been longer in the back, not shorter. I signed the charge slip refuse as I cannot believe he could even think of charging me again for NOT fixing what they RuiNED!!!!!!! I would please be VERY careful who you see at this business, Anna was nice and good at what she does. It may have just been a bad day for the other lady, but one bad day ruined others. A owner who is non caring has too much and does not have care in his heart to worry about others feelings or time. Everyone I talk with is amazed and sadly word of mouth and internet postings are the only way I can let people know to please be careful. I never want anyone else to miss time with their child and have the one responsible not care. Luckily i deal with hundreds of people each day to warn and it is a surprise how many wish they had known where i was taking the dress as they have had horrible experiences there. it is just so big the owner does not care about one person as he knows there are so many more to keep him financially secure.
