I drove 4 hours, let them know I was in a pinch, they locked me in the yard. I started walking back as soon as they said the yard was closed. I called the number on the back of the fence "in case you are locked in" no one answered. After walking through dodges, jeeps and chevys in their "ford section" I found the part I needed. it was 2 bolts and hose to remove. 15 minutes and a little compassion, they could made money and helped someone. I have bought a car from them and recycled about 5 tons of copper and steel with them... GO ELSEWHERE. They don't care or need your or my business, they made that VERY CLEAR.

Poorly run, amazing they stay in business, reviews below are right on.

There are so many things about this yard that are absolutely baffling. I'm a Saturday junker, as many of us 9-5 M-F type are, and it's so hard to get to the yard and pull what I need before they close at 12 Noon on Saturdays. Flushing away lots of business with that one. Major pain as mentioned below that all of the cars sit flat on the ground, are tightly packed, so if you need to pull and engine/trans/suspension you have to beg to have it fork-lifted to a stand. Prices are completely arbitrary, may change between the quote and the checkout, and subject to the mood of the cranky old man. Lots of older stuff, but they are pretty proud of it and price accordingly. I also highly recommend you drive a bit further to Anderson's on 8th and 85- up front price list, cars all on rim stands, roll-around A-frames and wagons available to help with the heavy stuff, flat yard without weeds, inventory rolls over rapidly, and they're nice! Every interaction I have had with Martin's gives me the impression it's run by a bunch of cranky old codgers who just want to retire, and are annoyed that you are bothering them. After being a very frequent customer in the beginning I now only bother to stop there if absolutely necessary.

Rude owner, high prices

0/5 rating, but that's not possible. The owner, also the guy who does all prices off his head, just gives you a price and refuses to budge. Always has an irritated mood, and acts like he doesn't even want to see you. Every part i bought there i could have gotten for half the price at another yard in Greeley. The lot is poorly organized, and half the vehicles are placed so close together you can't even open the doors. Not to mention, all vehicles are placed on the ground, making it impossible to remove parts from under them. Maybe if you're lucky, the vehicle your after still has its wheels on.Best bet, drive the extra 10 or so miles to Anderson's in Greeley on 85.

bad customer service

I have been trying to get a quote on shipping for auto parts since december 2011.ITs now June 2012.I was finally given a quote last week.Called back today only to be told he sold them to someone else and refused to sell me anything because i didnt buy it last week. And after yelling at me he hung up on me. I called back tried to talk to him since i wasnt given a chance the first time, again he hung up. This business is not run in a professional manner, Charles Martin is rude and doesnt do what he says he will do in a timely manner. Instead it takes him 6 months and then acts crazy about a week. Beware!!!!!
