Available On the Weekends By Appointment Established in 1985 in a one-bay shop after getting an associates degree in automotive technology, Sam Shirley opened his first Midwest Towing location, providing auto repair and light truck repair services, as well as integrated towing. In 1986, he bought the location that was a three-bay garage. Now, 32 years later, this family-run operation in Walnut, IA, has grown from one truck to one wrecker, one heavy-duty wrecker, and one flatbed truck, logging over 12,000 tow and road service calls. Our operators have Wreckmaster and Miller Industries training. When a customer calls, they will receive not only an experienced operator but also a trustworthy, dependable operator that will go the extra mile.
