Mike Nieman, the owner of Chesapeake Underwater Sports, is simply a superb instructor of scuba diving! My husband and I both learned to scuba dive safely and easily from him, with the result that we have enjoyed years of confident diving fun, both on trips with him and by ourselves! His instruction is delivered in a calm, relaxed, effective manner---a thoroughly enjoyable experience. He is an excellent teacher with a very kind personality and a delightful sense of humor . Diving trips on live-aboard dive boats with him are among our favorite memories. He is also quite good at sizing and advising new divers about scuba gear that they will be happy with.
