Established in 1978, Tunk's Cypress Inn is a restaurant that offers dining services to clients. It provides a variety of food items and beverages and specializes in steaks, oysters and seafood. Great food in a great southern restaurant on a beautiful lake! Always a good choice.
Great food, pretty fair prices. The live band is pretty good as well. Recommend the Sandy Snapper -Awesome!

First class location right on the lake. 10 or so minutes out of Alexandria. Full menu with seafood as the largest selection. Large enough to keep waiting at a minimum. Can easily cater to almost any size party. Oyster bar downstairs. One of my favorite restaurants in all of central Louisiana.
This place is usually really good fresh food. Once or twice I have been and it wasn't that great, but more times than not it is fantastic. You could probably catch any restaurant at a bad time now and again. The setting for this place is on kincaid lake and it is beautiful. The seafood platter is pretty good (20.00) and the fried catfish is really good(15.00) a lot of people like the snapper sandy, I've never tried it, but it is well liked.
