Top notch: experienced and conscientious. We first hired Century Remodeling from four bidders to install new windows when we bought our 70-year old home in 2006. Their proposal showed far more insight than the other three did. In 2010, we brought Century Remodeling back to repair storm damage due principally to the collapse of gutters installed by another contractor in November 2009. The November contractor failed to screw the new gutters into the roof beams, which were concealed by aluminum "house wrap". In November the gutters were screwed only into the fascia board, and came crashing down when they filled with ice. Century Remodeling had pointed out "house wrap" on other parts of the house, and removed it at our instruction, so we are confident they would not have been fooled by it in November 2009. We have found their roofing subcontractor to be expensive. But even for roofing work, we will always ask Century Remodeling for a proposal.
