I wish I could provide a rating without giving any stars. If you want your children to be safe, do not bring them here. Without disclosing personal information, someone very close to me used to bring their child here. They had been for a few years just for a lack of options. After a while it was discovered that their child had been, shall we say... sexually explored by some of the other children. These children took the child where they wouldn't be seen, pulled down their pants and began touching them inappropriately. When the child's parent found out, they confronted the "teachers". The teachers told the parent that this "was just kids being kids" and "they were only exploring there's nothing wrong with it." For the children to be able to do that at a daycare without anyone noticing, and for the daycare to be so nonchalant in their response is absolutely disgusting. Please reconsider taking your children here, because until they learn to actually teach and watch over these children correctly, they have no business running a daycare

I really only need one word to describe Bryden Academy....family. This week, my family was forced to relocate and place our children in another center. It was one of the hardest decisions I've ever had to make. My boys (5 and 3) have been attending Bryden since they were both born and their amazing teachers have basically raised them together with us. They truly love our children and have always been there to enrich their lives, play with them, teach them, and if necessary keep them in line - my two boys are a little rambunctious. While both the kids have learned shapes, letters, counting, basic math, and tons of other stuff even before Kindergarten, they received the best education possible, playing. Many centers tout their curriculum as the primary reason to attend. While important to find a school with a great curriculum, Bryden certainly has plenty of educational time, yet will also give them ample opportunities to just be children.

My kids have been going to Bryden for over 8 years and they love it. When my friend said she had read the reviews on this page I had to write my own review. We started at Bryden when our kids where infants we love all the teacher there and so do our kids. The baby teacher has been there for over 13 years and most of the teachers stay long term. They have a low turn over rate of teachers. My kids love all the activities they do and so do we as parents because they were all ready for school because of the learning they did in the classrooms. There are a lot of activities during the summer for my older children and all of the staff keep the bulding clean and kept up. All the staff is very friendly and helpful it is a warm loving environment with bright colorful rooms and lots of toys for the kids to play with. Go look and make up your own mind up not 2 or 3 bad review this place is AWSOME!

This is a daycare facility, NOT a preschool and certainly not an academy. It is dirty, movies are substituted for personal interaction, books and reading are practically non-existent, and the providers are lackluster at best. There have also been too many citations with state inspections. My little one was returned to me with soiled, unchanged diapers. The abundent problems have left me no choice but to reconsider.

I enrolled my 5 month old son in Bryden Academy that lasted for only a short time. Every time I went to pick him up or drop him off there was at least 1 to 3 elementary students in the room playing with the babies or just hanging out. They should not be in the room at all. My biggest issue really was the laziness of the teachers. There was not a time I was in there that there weren't at least 2 babies screaming and crying for over 5 minutes. I DO NOT want my son to be left on the floor crying for that long before one of them decide to redirect him. My son was sick in the first week he attend because no one ever cleans the babies up and 90% of them always have snotty faces and noses. Really? Clean up these babies, would you just leave your own child a mess like that. I doubt it. The fact it is called Bryden "Academy" made me think they would do activities with my son, never once did they do a thing. They need to help these babies thrive! I would never recommend this daycare.

My kids have been going to Bryden Academy for over 8 years starting in the infant class all the way to the school age class and thay love it and so do I. Most of the teachers have been there more then 5 yeare and some even longer who are all trained in child development classes! They have a great summer program for the older kids that includes field trips, movies, bowling, crafts and much more, thay also have a great preschool program that helped my kids get ready for school, the center is always clean and alway smells clean. I strongly disagree with the comments made on here that the "Director cares more about the outside then the kids" is bull! The director does like to make the building look nice inside AND out! Which is part of what makes it appealing as you drive by! Isnt that the point of owning a buisiness, to make it look nice to others as they come to it. I also know that some of the "outside" stuff isnt her doing its the landlords doing so some of it cant be helped!!

I agree with both reviews. The daycare IS chaotic. The children seem like they do not have a very structured day. The outside of the daycare and the driveway are very tacky. And the teachers do seem too young. However, Denise and her staff are very accommodating and my child loves his teachers. When all is said and done, though, I think I'd prefer a daycare with more structure to the day.

I disagree. I love this daycare. I have been taking my three children here since my oldest was a baby. And I think the director has done amazing things to this place. (ps the toys on the outside are not her fault or her decision, it the land lords, all you have to do is ask her). All of the teachers have worked there for a while now. They are sweet girls and really love the children there. You cant find a nicer or cheaper day care out there. If your looking for a day care this place is wonderful. The infant teacher has been there for 10 years, the toddler teacher has been there for 8. The fours teacher has been there for 10 as well. They have great experience. The director is a hard working woman who has really made it welcoming for anyone. Just go and see.

This daycare center is very chaotic. The children are all shoved together and they are all running around while the "teachers" are talking to each other. The teachers seem like very young teenagers and their last thought are the kids. The director also seems like she cares more about the plants and decorations on the outside of the daycare than safety and security of the kids. There are more toys on the outside of the daycare than there are for the kids to play on. My daughter was taking care of an infant when I showed up to get her. She is 9 years old and this obvioulsy was not her responsibility. I paid them to take care of her. I did not pay them for her to be taking care of infants.
