Grazie Ristorante Italiano

Stella Mia is my favorite restaurant. I've been going there for years and have never had a bad experience. I don't know if my favorite dish is their gnocci, spaghetti and meatballs, pumpkin pasta, or lasagna. Everything is delicious. The specials are always an inventive use of seasonal ingredients. I love you Chef Bruno!

I always hesitate to write a negative review because it must be hard to run a business, but I also work hard for my money, and it was a complete waste on this place. It's basically like a renovated house. It smelled musty, and the sense of privacy was the same as if you set up a few tables in your living room. We also waited in this odd waiting area that was basically two chairs stuck behind a partial wall. We were then put at round table for 5 people, even though there were two of us, and they seated us next to each other which I guess is the most appropriate when you seat two people at such a large table. But the result was that we were basically staring at everyone else in the restaurant/living room and had to turn side ways to talk to each other. The staff was friendly, and I think we had almost everyone stop by our table at some point. The food was mediocre and simple: pasta with meatballs, pasta with cheese and peas, pasta with cream sauce. I felt like I was at someone's house instead of a restaurant, and the atmosphere was very awkward, and the food not really up to what I would consider restaurant standards. And our caraf of house wine, an appetizer, starter salad, and meals came out to about $100. You are MUCH better off with Grazie's down the street!

My husband and I really like this restaurant! Amazing Bruschetta, and everything we have had is delicious. I would also rate this as a great place to take a date, and you can be dressy or casual.

I've been to Grazie's countless times, and have never been disappointed! Their Alfredo sauce is one of the best I?ve had. According to my parents, their coconut prawns are THE best. Parmesan risotto is to die for, it?s very rich and creamy! The risotto comes with certain menu items, but I?ve ordered it alone as a side dish. My favorite dish is ?Cassie?s pesto supremo,? it has artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, pine nuts and feta cheese? oh my mouth is watering! I saw someone comment on the flan, only it?s not called flan, it?s called creme caramel. I?m no creme caramel connoisseur, but it was yummy, just like everything else I?ve tried there. If you go during peak times, especially on weekends call ahead for a reservation!

A great experience as a whole. What the food lacks in finesse the very friendly staff and interesting setting more then makes up for it.
Very interesting menu choices, some would say even odd but it works.
On a sunny day the sitting outside makes you feel secluded even though you are but 100 yards from the Bothell Hwy.

My fiancee and I went to this resturant and were greeted by a seemingly confused waitress. For some reason, there was some mix up and we ended up getting served by three different servers (all of which made this dreadful experience even longer). My dish looked like catfood and tasted very bland. My fiancee felt her dish was average. We both didn't feel that it was worth the price. On top of that, after I expressed my dislike of my dish, they didn't do anything to accomodate me. All I can say to all readers, is to avoid this place at all costs.

Our overall experience with Grazie Ristorante was average. While the food was good and the service was adequate, we felt the atmosphere lacked given the prices being charged. First, the place needs a bit of updating. This restaurant has been here several years and the ceiling tiles show their age. The decor is older and is bland...a realitively open room with booths and tables. When charging about $30 for a steak dinner with salad, you expect a few finishing touches. The only linen in the place were the napkins. In addition to charging extra for the salad, the main course (in this case a steak dinner) didn't even come with vegetables. What did that save them...50 cents? Overall, I give the place a ""C"". The good food didn't make up for the price or atmosphere. There won't be a next time here for me and I won't be recommending it.

I don't travel to the north end very frequently, but I do make the trip to Bothell for Stella Mia.
Chef Bruno's Italian Cuisine is the best I have tasted. Unique, yet authentic, Stella Mia offers something for everyone. I myself have a sweet tooth and savor the flavors of his pumpkin pasta. My boyfriend prefers the spicy lasagna, and claims it is the best is town. We'd also never heard of ""tre colore"" before dining at Stella Mia, and now it's my favorite Italian dish: basil, tomatoe, and mozzarella (the three colors of Italy) with olive oil and balsamic.
Stella Mia is situated in the quaint Country Village, which surely adds to the ambiance during your meal.

My wife and I read the reviews, asked around and found that there were a lot of positive responses to our probe for a ""good"" Italian restaurant. We went, loved the dim lighting, the private table (we called ahead) and prompt service.
What we didn't like is that our appetizer was only moments ahead of the salads and within a minute of our main course. Timing aside, we found the soup to be bland, the salad OK and the appetizer luke-warm. We again said to each other maybe this is an off night and politely asked that the soups be returned and our appetizer be warmed while we ate the salads and main dish. While my Special was very good, my wifes regular menu item pasta was very bland.
We basically gave up, asked for the check and then spent the next twenty minutes wondering what was happening. After several inquires we recieved the check. We then spent the next twenty minutes asking why we were charged for everything that was sent back. We never saw the appetizer again the rest of night and the soup was broth, lots of plain broth.
If I go again, I'll stick to the basics, bread, no Appetizer even though I still have one coming, check the specials, and stay away from the Chicken pasta. You can bring your wine too, only it's 15 bucks to have them pull the cork. Highly recommend a screw top!

I've been dining at Stella Mia's for years. My mother brought me here when I was about 15 and I've been hooked ever since. The service has always been excellent. The food is amazingly delicous and always exceeds my expectations. The only downside for me is that I don't like wine, so I can't enjoy their vast selection of unique wines. If I have to drive out of my way for Italian, you can be sure that I will avoid those chain resturants. For the same price I can have excellent service, reasonably priced food, and a cozy atomosphere.

Very good food in a very comfortable setting.

I have been doing mostly take out at this restaurant. I have ordered several dishes to go and each time it was prepared perfectly! Never missing a thing! The best part is the olive oil and garlic/italian herb dip with homemade bread!! I could literally drink this it is so fabulous.
There is a comment posted about FOOD POISENING??? this has to be a competitor worried about business; the food at Grazie is so fresh, the restaurant clean; you can see the cooks cooking and their environment is spottless. Don't believe a word of that review!!!

I have been eating here for over 5years and it has only gotten BETTER!!! The Staff goes to Italy every year for special training. This is a wonderful restaurant catering only the best in Italian!!! (Plus the management does care, if you have a concern call them) Don't miss out on a Great experience!!!

We were incredibly surprised by this place. Absolutely wonderful food - great flavors. Atmosphere Serene - we sat outside - the village is quaint and peaceful.

A relaxing place to eat good food with great service!

Went for dinner and ended up with food poisoning that lasted for days. Had a fever of 103 F. When I contacted the manager she was asking what she wanted me to do. Then reasoned that they went through the dish I ordered quickly. The food poisoning could have been caused by mishandling of food or poor hygiene of the cook. Poor and unprofessional response to an important health concern. I would never return.

We've been meaning to try this place, just never got around to it. Now we will make up for lost time and opportunities. The promising aromas as we entered were inviting, the meals delicious, the service friendly and efficient. Service was never hurried, still prompt. Unique combinations and flavors made this a great ""find"" for us. We havn't been there for a weekend jazz performance yet. From friends who have, I expect it will be as enjoyable as the restaurant itself.

We frequent this restayrant about once a month. The food is excellent and pleasently prepared. I too have found the service to need a bit of improvement at times, but never to the point of concern. We have our favorite service people there and they never fail to come to our table and exchange a few words with us each time we visit. This is not high end stuff here, it's just a very nice place to go with excellent food. I love dining late and having the jazz come out from the lounge.

We love Stella Mia's! We go there all the time for dinner and occasionally for lunch. The food is always good, the staff is very friendly, inviting and accomodating and the atmosphere is warm. I love the fresh sauteed veggies and polenta with the Secondi dishes. I just recently changed up what I usually ate and went with the Caprese Salad and Minestrone soup. They both were wonderful (not surprising!) and made for a great, light meal. If you come to Bothell, make sure to stop by and have some of the best Italian food in the area!

I love eating and doing take out from this restaurant. The environment is clean, beautiful and the service is GREAT! Oh and of course the food is one of the best in the area! They travel to Italy every year and learn more secrets in the art of cooking Italian and it shows.... If you don't have time to cook or need food to go for a special event they always get it right!

After moving to Bothell from Seattle I was certain that I would be sacrificing my selection of good Italian places. As such, I was surprised to find Stella Mia on CitySearch in a rating sort only a mile from my house! It has quickly become my favorite Italian restaraunt in all Seattle.

The waitstaff is consistent and very personable. They have a very good wine selection. There are a number of very unique specials that they offer that are exceptional (such as their sweet pastas: mango penne and also pumpkin ravioli). My favorite dish is their popular polla penne which includes artichoke hearts, spinach, garlic, feta and chicken in a gorganzola sauce - it's wonderful.

My only complaint about Stella Mia is that they often close before their 10:00pm schedule (as listed on this website); if you are going later than 9:00pm, call to make sure they are open.

We got Grazie quiet often, live jazz on weekend . The staff goes to Italy every other year, they are always ready to recommend wine from there latest trip. I usually order lamb chops, never been disappointed. I also recommend finishing dinner with one of there home made deserts(choc suicide) with an espresso(owner roasts the coffee)
