General Info
When you have to confront that most daunting of situations, and you open the Court Room door and are ordered to appear before a Judge, be sure to walk to the front of the Court Room beside an attorney who has been there thousands of times before, someone who will provide for you the assurance that your life and the lives of your family are being carefully protected by an experienced and competent trial attorney. Rick Fayard has provided that assurance to thousands of clients before you. He will do that for you as well. Rick has practiced law in North Louisiana for the last 39 years. He has proudly represented people from all walks of life including other professionals such as doctors, lawyers and accountants and their families, politicians, businesses and corporations, both large and small, just has he has represented those who have been persecuted by those large corporations, or those who feel helpless against governmental abuse. He has tried many cases to juries including those in Caddo, Bossier, Ouachita and Desoto Parishes. He is both fair-minded and ethical, but is an aggressive advocate for his clients. Rick has two degrees from LSU, a Bachelor of Arts in Government and a Juris Doctorate. He is currently working on his Masters in Business Administration with a specialty in International Business. He successfully completed the Expert Trial Course at Harvard University administered by the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is a former prosecutor, a former City Attorney, and a former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bossier Medical Center. He is a former officer of the Indigent Defender Board for Louisiana. He has served in an official capacity in many charitable fund raising drives. He has been a member of many service organizations including the Exchange Club, the Rotary Club and the International Jaycees. He was president of the Bossier YMCA, and chaired the building and finance committee on the Vestry of the Episcopal Church. He was an American Legion baseball coach for eight years, and coached in the Bossier and Shreveport YMCA and Bossier Parks and Recreation youth leagues for 24 years, coaching not only his sons but hundreds of young children and young men.
