I have shopped this Hallmark location for many years due to it being the closest Gold Crown Hallmark to my home. I as well as a few others I know have been routinely disappointed with the demeanor of who I have been told is the owner and another woman who is apparently the manager. Specifically, these two persons are abrupt, short-spoken, at times are rude and simply not friendly. This experience is not based on a single incident or any type of confrontation, but a general observation through the years. The other personnel have been helpful and pleasant as would be expected of a Hallmark store or any other business for that matter and this review should not reflect on other employees. This has been the only Hallmark location where I have experienced this type of demeanor from the primary staff to include ownership. This location also is also the only location to my knowledge that prices their after Christmas items to include ornaments at 40% off rather than the usual 50% discount. While only a 10% difference, this fact is not surprising given my experience with the management. It is important to note that this review was not prompted by this pricing issue, but rather the demeanor described above.
