Horrible customer Service. My daughter and I came into the store at 7:15pm looking for Jamaican crochet hair and only 5 minutes in the store the manager Mr.Young watched us the entire time!! Very unprofessional, the movies mock what they actually do! Around 7:40pm after the first notice from Mr.Young that the store was closing soon we went to register to checkout with the cashier who rushed through the process. Going over my recipe in the store the cashier said that he did not over charge me when i know I was being over charged.. The next morning I found he miscalculated my items overcharging me as I thought. I called to explain that I DID NOT get the extra 2 items I paid for and Ms. Ester laughed at me and said "I don't think so". There was no sympathy or understanding at all, we will Never come back to this beauty supply store ever! I advise you to make sure you check your receipt and all your items before you leave the store they will rip you off and laugh at you about it.

I will never go to this store again despite it has a lot of inexpensive hair accessories, beauty products(and they're not high end ones but stuff you could not find in your average store. the first few times I just came in for majorly the products for African American type hair.

I recently discovered this ghetto gallery by accident and regarded it as tremendously tacky and unwelcoming. They didn't know that they close at 8 the first time I went in there and they shut off the lights when I was in the back of the store and I couldn't even see to get out with out knocking something over. God forbid it be one of their precious wigs since I just am referencing hair extensions that caused me to write my first review ever. Too bad it's horrible I had a very frustrating verbal dispute with this nasty mean freaky frugal old fart. but they looked But like I said, they have stuff stores don't even know about. My family and I probably spent close to $2,000 despite never being treated well but today let's just say Mr. Young can take his store and religious radio playing every time and go to hello operator. I know of an almost identical store down the street that I am going to write my first good review on. This woman's less cluttery and not crowdwd with junk store might be a bit Smaller but that is minor compared to....that. The owner doesn't have a clue what it's like to speak to another human being like a person let alone customers. Hopefully no one is this despicable by nature. This owner Young hopefully is just suffering from dementia or something. He put up such a stink when I tried to return something and it was not a nasty wig. He yelled and offered me nothing.I didn't even with the money I just wanted to get the right color. Well now I have the right color and I wish wish I can take my other ones that I purchased from his store and shove it up ugly mouth. I tried to tell him that The store was closing and he went back probably to yell at somebody to get out first time I was there they shut the lights off another place very similar to was not quite as big but they help me find the perfect thing for me and very polite don't go to the store sky? Get away with acting like this to all the customers by the way I have read so many reviews I got it by going to or order anything without reading reviews and you better believe it if I read negative ones that are very descriptive I sure as heck think twice just hoping I get what I accomplished to do I was hoping my first review would be positive stray from the norm damn it I couldn't if I I think I'll go to other place very similar to it down the street a positive one enter at your own risk!!!

very disappointed; This black owned business is extremely racist. I am a middle aged caucasian with some hair loss. I live in Bolingbrook and heard this store had a vast selection of hair pieces. Which they do , however all displayed hair pieces and wigs are for African American only. When I tried to ask why, I was ignored. Mr. Young needs to realize this isn't the 50's or 60's anymore. Bolingbrook is a multi racial area.
