Buh bye to Cable One's cable service. Other than getting a couple of local channels on their "Economy" tier, the rest is crap, and for $35/month, that sucks. SO, for a $12. antenna I can get ALL local channels, with ZERO monthly payments to Cable One. For $20/month I have SLING TV: HGTV-ESPN 1&2-A&E-AMC-TBS-CNN-HISTORY-IFC-FOOD NETWK-TRAVEL-ABC FAMILY-DISNEY-LIFETIME & a few more. To get those same channels from Cable One: $70+/month. WASTE OF $$ plus their customer service has greatly diminished. AND Cable One does not even care!!!...
its cable network for one thing, meaning the line is shared. a good hacker can find your computer and read all of you info. plus they throttle your connection down if they suspect you of using any type of file sharing or downloading of copy righted data (i couldn't watch Netflix and youtube is extremely slow). i feel that i should be able to but a limit on my PC (say 1.5 Mbps what i pay for) and do what ever i want and visit all sites and use them to there fullest extend 24/7 365. if that means legally downloading movies or programs at 1.5 Mbps that is the service i no longer pay for. i have since gone to husenet (aka direct tv). latency is high but i don;t care because i do not play online games.
I like how they work and how nice they are to me evyertime I call or they come to my house.
