I contacted City National Bank of Florida to verify funds are available to cover a check one of their customers gave me. The representative would not let me know if the check was good, and she was extremely rude. She told me I would either have to visit a branch (I am in PA, and they only have branches in FL) or deposit the check in my account and wait to see if it is returned for insufficient funds, which would incur fees from my bank. Very, very poor customer service. I'd give them negative stars if that were an option.
