      Located in Bloomington, Ill., the Family Visitation Center has been operational for more than 10 years. The center offers a safe, neutral site for visitation between the non-custodial parent and child. The center offers safety protocols that keep parents separated during visitation or exchange drop-off and therefore in compliance with court orders of protection and no contact orders. It serves the residents of McLean, Dewitt, Platt, Ford and Woodford counties in Illinois. The Family Visitation Center s referrals come from the court and attorneys, including Prairie State Legal Services, therapists, counselors, physicians and service agencies. The center offers a welcome packet on visitation that includes guidelines, scheduling, client s grievance procedures, a parent s resource guide and community resource brochures. The Family Visitation Center also has a staff of interpreters for Spanish-speaking families.
