While attending a tracking camp in WI my Golden Retriever became ill. On our way home to MO it became clear that she needed medical attention. Dr. Tator was kind enough to see her with little notice. I found both the Dr. and staff at Fairway Knolls to be very pleasant and knowledgeable. After her treatment, I left the clinic feeling that she was going to be just fine and she was. If I lived in the area I would certainly consider this clinic for our vet needs.

Last month I took Miss Kitty, a little calico cat to Dr. Tatro. She was very ill due to hyperthyroidism & lost half of her body weight. Two vets in the Chicago area had pretty much given up on her & told me I would loose her soon. .My family takes their animals to Dr.Tatro & he came highly recommended. Thank goodness I listened to them. Dr. Tatro tested Miss Kitty, thoroughly explained the results of those tests(she has multiple issues) & then proceeded to prescribe the right combination of diet & medications for Miss Kitty. She is now very alert & active, has gained considerable weight & is as frisky & loveable as ever. Needless to say, I am thrilled!! I have had this kitty for over 15 years & losing her would be almost as traumatic as losing a child. I would highly recommend Dr. Tatro & his staff - they are knowledgeable, compassionate & patient - plus - Miss Kitty seems to really like them.I won't have her forever, but her life has been extended! Dr. Tatro has been just great to my little doggie. My Dog was going through some tough issues that my previous vet wasn't able to completely alleviate. Dr. Tatro took the time to fully explain the problem and the options that we had available. I'm glad to say that "Willie" has never been better.
